I'm back in Melbourne after being away for 6 months. And I feel like venues are taking the piss with prices

$26 for eggs and toast. It was previously $20-24.

Bars pubs and cafes charging credit card surcharge

This seems higher than inflation. Are they taking the piss or am I missing something?

They are taking the piss! Took the wife out for brunch. 2 breakfast dishes with a couple of extras, 2 coffees and 2 cocktails ~$120+ … F$&k that noise… Credit card charges and venues increasingly refusing cash is the cherry on top 😞
