Being reminded today that I was on Lake Atitlán a couple of Christmases ago…

And a thought crossed my mind.

If I’m ever with a wealthy Bitcoiner who enjoys grand romantic gestures, please don’t ever do fireworks for me 😅.

Lake Atitlán spoiled that for me. Fireworks from morning to night every day in December, with an 8-hour+ Christmas finale into the early morning… smoke drifting straight into my apartment.

In hindsight, I should’ve worn the mask I use during CA fire smoke season 😬 (about the only time I tolerate one).

Consider me permanently off the fireworks appreciation list 🎇🚫

P.S. this is me riding a tuk tuk to my next Airbnb where I got stung by a scorpion in my bed in the dark that night. That lake and that year came with a lot of scorpion medicine. 🦂
