Ended up not filing Home Owners Insurance because it was barely worth it. FEMA been pending nearly a month and denied everything so far. I won't hold my breath. FEMA seems utterly useless.

Current insurance value proposition is moving to 0 at this rate. I wonder if small community funds in an escrow account would be better?

Thank you but we're blessed. We still don't have internet with no end in sight but I already repaired my fence myself and the home was untouched. Some people lost everything, some their lives. So we're greatful for everything the Lord has given us.
