As in all countries when you buy direct from farmers you get to see how much money is going to the big corporates. The farmer has and always gets screwed. The quicker the farmer gets on the Bitcoin standard the better off he will be.

I’m in the us.

100%

This is why I buy at the farmers market, better quality product and the money doesn’t go to the big corporates.

Do any of the sellers accept Bitcoin/lightning payments

Unfortunately not but I think this sort of market would be ideal for farmers to accept Lightning payments. Most of them are using the Square credit card terminals since a lot of people don’t pay with cash anymore so would be getting hit with fees from that.

You have some work to do then.

Are there many places in Singapore that you’ve found that accept Bitcoin?

No. Most expats here are all fat dumb and happy and the locals are led by the government. Altho there are many people here who are bitcoiners.

There was someone I used to work with who moved to Singapore. I know he used to buy big boxes of processed crap from China and it sounded like that is basically all he ate..

Yes good quality here is not so good. Everything is imported and it’s shit by the time you get it

Hey #[7] - how is lightning integration on square terminals going?

The Square terminals are so common here in Australia, it would be great to see this happen!
