I left X about 3 months ago. I had to stop because all I could think about was war and terror. Now I'm back to normal and don't miss X at all. There are also memes on Nostr.

killed my Twitter account a few months ago. I can contrast the mental health of my friends that are heavy Twitter users with those who aren't and see the cause quite clearly. Twitter seems to be a direct stimulant of the Twitter brain and people love it.

I deleted my 15 year old account a couple of months ago, productivity levels up 10 fold! Nostr is more positive, inspiring and far less addictive. I check it in the morning “GM” and the evening “GN”, and sometimes in the day if I have something good to share or if I’ve sat down to drink a coffee. I love it! Vast improvement mentally!! 💜💜💜

Left shortly after Elon took over, because he didn't let me connect over TOR without ID (phone number)

Best decision ever

I haven't left twitter yet but a month ago I installed the News Feed Eradicator plugin which hides the main feed. I still use twitter to consciously follow a select few accounts and to use the messenger.

I can sense that people rage over some things from what I read on other platforms but the rage does not reach me as hard as it hit me before. I am starting to feel the positive effects of not being directly exposed to the twitter algorithms.
