American politicians, for example, are interested in how blacks will vote, or how the hispanics will vote, etc. There are other kinds of groups too, Muslim, Christian, etc and I know that different races can be Muslim or Christian, so this can be complicated. However, people naturally tend to form groups based on whatever they find important to them.

So, it will be interesting to see how these groups push or pull the slider.
