I have one great friends group where the term "libtard" gets tossed around casually, as a matter of fact. I have another great friend group that has several libtards within it... that term is never said.

Recently, in the group chat of the latter group, politics come up and I insinuated that one of the guys was a libtard... oh my, the shit hit the fan and he lived up to my insinuation... like a middle school drama queen with his panties in a bunch. So now I contemplate how to respond.

Sadly, I want to call him out for being a weak man making times harder. But having a beer with him will probably calm things down and unruffle the feathers.

Do I ask him out for a beer and sus it out or do I call out his weak sauce takes in the group chat and smack his simp ass down?

I’ve had a few friends like that in the past. Not necessarily libtards but emotional wussies. Eventually, it takes a toll to deal with and I don’t have the time or the energy for that any more. I’ve gone quality over quantity in my friendships

I hear you. Sadly, I think that's exactly what the PTB want us to do... kick the "other" to the curb. But it can be exhausting dealing with people who have a completely different view of the world.

Ohhhhh the challenges of 1st world problems.

I agree with you there. For me, I just realized there are only 24 hrs in a day. I’ll spend that time with family and friends with whom I can mutually grow and make them better while they make me a better man.

Agreed, that is the signal I seek as well.
