I've too have been there several dozen times.
& as the kids get older they are sick far less, but then they do crazy shit and have to get stitches & casts and crutches etc.

I’m genuinely happy for you. Beyond it being the thing a parent is supposed to say, my son is really the best, minus this one thing. But damn, is it a big thing.
