I used to do taekwondo and Ninpo, but due to having 2 bad knees I shifted my focus to weightlifting.
The reason for me to keep going is to be a good example for my children if I ever start a family..

I would reconsider the last part 😂 Plenty of other reasons to keep going. I used to train taekwondo too but all my friends from back then who continued have knee issues. It’s the snap kicks killing the knees. Would you be interested if I’d share training video’s here? Which would you recommend? Inner-martial arts (like qi-gong), sword arts, staff or empty handed skills?
Me personally, I would be interested in seeing some training video's. And if I were to recommend some, it would be sword arts and empty hand skills.
What martial arts are you familiar with? And have you heard of Ninpo before?
