Currently we have hosted channels on lightning (Ex: SATM & Dundee channels). If these HC could be dynamic, as in being able to change size depending on how many sats you put in, there is no need for any ecash/fedimint.

Since the newbie needs to deposit BTC into a ecash/fedimint protocol to get started, why can't they just stay on lightning?
