Nostr can support deeper discussion thanks to its decentralized, flexible design ..

but it needs better moderation and thoughtful client features to avoid

spam and noise.

Yes, but who will do the moderation? How would it work? I’m not so sure I want the client to do it. That seems like a slippery slope to me.

Moderation could be done by users chosen relays and filters, not clients. Communities set rules, users pick what to see keeping it decentralized and opt-in.
