Honest question. As a bitcoin only pleb. Do you worry less bitcoin following on twitter will have a negative effect on the long run? Or none at all? I only have my twitter now to retweet anything Nostr ornbitcoin related. But would hate to see the #btc engagement vanish.

Interesting question but a negative effect in which sense?
Just for the fact that twitter is so well known ( for non crypto users as well ) would bitcoiners no longer being active on that platform Bring less engagement long term for the growth of bitcoin in the future if we all abandoned it? I mean I found Nostr from all the bitcoin community on twitter, now I use twitter to shill it lol. So if we all ditched twitter bitcoin itself would lose a large platform of people sharing knowledge to others that don’t know what Nostr is yet.
I understand what you mean but honestly I don't think it's a negative thing.
Twitter was rampant with noise, algorithm junk, shit coin shilling, price speculation and things that didn't matter for BTC. On top of that I can see it being a matter of time until mentions of Nostr or npubs is a suspendible offence on the platform.
There are other platforms for purple pilling than just Twitter but fair point 🤙
