The later Blackberry's running BlackBerry 10 software were pretty impressive. Ahead of their time, with swipe gestures that everyone later copied. It just didn't get the app support they got desperate and added an android emulator into BB10 but its only android 4.3. I still use it as a twitter and article reading device. The keyboard doubles up as a trackpad so you can scroll timeline swiping keyboard up or down. Would make for a sick Nostr device. This passport runs amazing still. BlackBerry did make some great hardware. RIP

BlackBerry died quickly after week long worldwide service blackouts.

Intolerable today given everything I use my PED for.

They had a centralized solution that predated most of the less centralized and horizontally scalable web solutions. They stuff was designed for pre-3G bandwidth
