Private keys over a volcano, what’s your favorite film? Can only pick one.
Mine is: Good Will Hunting. Has it all. Pure magic credits to credits.

The Prestige
Watching it the first and second time gave two completely different experiences.
Not my favorite movie but only thing I could think of after reading private keys over a volcano
I want to eat your pancreas is a film that I really enjoyed.

I know you said favorite, but I'm going to pick two.
This one is it's own category though, the budget category. As in, it had a $7000 budget. Let's call this a loophole.
Alien
There's no question

Labyrinth

Lord of the rings
The fellowship is my favorite if i cant choose all three
Pulp fiction for me. So many iconic lines and scenes. And tons of tiny details and character arcs to discover.
That was my favorite movie for many years when I was a young man. Flawless and brilliant. Have probably watched 50 times.
Haha same! Had to pick one so I went for a classic from my younger more formidable years. Just like you prob watched that DVD till the laser etched through! That movie was background to a lot of influential times in my life and it's good to be reminded where you came from.
Absolutely, I haven’t thought of Pulp Fiction in a while. Need to revisit. Definitely had the DVD and would pass the dreary PNW winters watching and studying those classic movies with my brother. We also watched Snatch, A Clockwork Orange, Dr Strange Love, Fight Club, Being John Malkovich, The Matrix and Jurassic Park on repeat in those days. All top tier movies.
Oh man yes all those are classics! Esp love being John malkovic! That shit got trippy. In addition to those, I also had memento, usual suspects, spaceballs, resevoir dogs kill bill, grindhouse, from dusk till dawn, no country for old men, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, adaptation, fargo and idiocracy in rotation.
Somehow I've never watched dr strangelove before. 🫨
apocalypse now... lord of the rings
The Leopard by Visconti and The Holy Mountain by Jodorowsky are both experiences but since I have to pick one I'm going with Surf's Up but only scenes with chicken joe.
