I don’t want a robot to cut my lawn… or one day care for my wife or grandchildren.

I want to do it myself.

There’s deep satisfaction in finishing a project with my own hands, or in caring for someone in need… it’s real connection. That’s what makes life feel full.

Spiritual connection is what they are trying to kill

Same reason UBI is retarded. With a nameless and faceless connection to “charity” it doesn’t mean anything and people become even angrier. That’s thy welfare recipients are the angriest people on the planet.

Never thought of it that way. Reinforces the idea that the faceless "have more to give while I'm struggling".

And that I’m incapable of providing for myself.

the point is, the things you love, you should do. robots are great, like washing machines. If you don't want to love your kids, let someone else do it. Otherwise, do it yourself. Sadly most parents have abandoned their responsibility to their kids

Right, if you're the person that nows how many cm your lawn should be and take off 1/3 based on the growth rate, you probably want to mow yourself.

If like me, you only mow so you have good relationships with your neighbors and so mosquitos don't get too crazy, I'd love a robot.

I want robots to do all boring things for me.

Taking care for my wife, kids or dogs is not boring. Exhausting? Sometimes, not boring.

Definitely fold the laundry!

well, doh 😂

my list is lng tho ...

You’ll be a relic.
