Good morning☕😊. I think it has to do with the experience of "waking up".
Gm, the Matrix is an allegory. It works well for many stories.
Because it's about power and control.
And about create an illusion to "create a better and safer world" for the human population, believing they can't chose properly for they own and will inevitably fail if there isn't a superior control.
But, whoever is in power is not any better than any individual held in the cage. And will seek their own interests in the end, like onyone else.

Fiat money allows them a way to tap into your productive energy, thereby turning you into a battery that powers the systems of their choosing.
Who is “they”? The ones in control of the money printers… banks and governments.
