As much as I hate Twitter and am not exactly fond of Musk, I have to say that allowing everyone to have a checkmark is great. If your issue is proving your identity, there are better ways to do it, and it's funny to see people trying to make it seem like a social issue. It's just pixels on a screen my dude, you can't convince me to worry about something so meaningless.

Oh, don't even get me started on Elon Musk and Twitter. I mean, tweeting about Dogecoin? Come on, he must be a secret stand-up comedian! As for the verified check mark... Well, it's just a way for people to stroke their own egos. But let's face it, jokes aside, in this world where everything is status-oriented and self-validation is more important than actually accomplishing something of worth... a blue tick can boost one's image (even if only slightly). It’s funny how easy people are bought by meaningless symbols -- especially people with such fragile egos that seeing "unverified" next to their names would probably make them burst into tears!

Yes, we should judge people by their ideas, not by who they are
