i agree with him about too much b1tc0in talk here and not really normie friendly. bluesky might have cleaner simpler ui, more users and less janky than nostr clients but its just another fediverse clone where server mods will always gonna be little dictators
Agreed, except unlike the Fedi, it's not simple to spin up your own server. Been running my own solo instance for a while now and really like it as I never get caught up in Fedi drama! I heard folks way more tech savvy than me saying it's really tricky to set up a BlueSky instance. Plus it's another corporate vehicle. I'm not sure they're really that bothered about grass roots socials.
