In this case I think it is the relay operator. How would a scraper be different from a user who is following all accounts?
Fair point. Relay operators eat all the costs too. Then again it's hard to accept that I wouldn't "own" my own notes in that way.
It's a bit like speech, you own your speech by controlling what you say. Once you tell a room of people something it becomes their knowledge.
Makes perfect sense now that you said it. It's exactly like speech because it *is* speech.
A way to control what pub keys can view a note would be handy. I'm not sure how the note would remain secure once accessed so that it can't be right clicked and saved. Without that ability it's no improvement on DMs
