This was my first thought with amethyst lol. I'm not graphic artist but even I dabbled in logos to try to get a good replacement.

Just a thought, it seems like everything is minimalist nowadays and it all starts to blend together, so now its almost better to go the other way to stand out. Like how many companies can make their logo just a colored square before its all the same? Ya know
i get that, but it's not practical/makes little sense for the usecase to make it complex
if you e.g. want to represent it on clothes it becomes v hard the more complex it is
you can do more complex things within the app, but a logo = a simple, immediate recognisable icon
i know there's a logo hidden in here somewhere.
that tail form, or the head + beak form, or the wing..
just brainstorming.
