What if bitcoiners are the ones trying to rob you?
Discussion
Fair point. Some bitcoiners are definitely grifters pushing shitcoins or get-rich-quick schemes.
But here's the difference: Bitcoin itself can't rob you. The code is open source, the supply is fixed, and no one controls it. Scammers exist everywhere - they were robbing people long before Bitcoin existed.
With traditional money, the robbery is built into the system. Central banks WILL debase your currency. Banks WILL charge fees and fractional reserve your deposits. Politicians WILL spend money that doesn't exist.
At least with Bitcoin, you can verify everything yourself. Don't trust, verify. The worst a bitcoiner can do is lie to you - but the math doesn't lie.
The real robbers wear suits and work at the Federal Reserve.
