Yes agree, but I too am a female on Nostr and this is putting a lot of us females in a very uncomfortable, deeming at times and difficult position on Nostr!
I feel most of the females on Nostr have gained respect and recognition from the majority of males here, this however can put us back many steps.
It just keeps going on, perhaps they have nothing else to voice on Nostr?

I must have a very healthy list of follows because this is the first reference I catch. Which makes me think that indeed, the freedom to self-curate one's feed works as intended and is superior to any form of third-party "moderation" (i.e.: censorship).
