Yes. Just like the dollar.
Everything only has value because someone is valuing it! People have to re-learn that!
Literally everything we believe in is just a story that we humans tell each other. Outside of the lawn of the jungle and physics, everything in maternity we were relating to humans. It’s just a story we make up.
It fascinates me that more people don't realize this obvious truth.

Bitcoin is backed by mining (physics). If physics is not a belief, then bitcoin is not based solely on belief, but on physical reality. The dollar and the other fiat currencies are based on belief ("the full faith and credit of...", whatever that means).
I get almost the same defensive reactions when people *ask me* about my #Carnivore diet or #Bitcoin
Yet I've gotten Healthier & Wealthier (in #fiat terms)

You should have started listing the beliefs we share
- believe people shouldn't be stolen from
- believe we don't need permission to spend our money
- believe that humans can't be trusted with controlling of the money supply
