Every Nostr event leaves me fired up and even more bullish on all of you, on this community and everything we’re building together. We’re connected by more than random npubs and shared cryptography. We’re more than just GMs and PVs.

We’re a social layer, a collective of people who see the world clearly and understand what the future can become if we keep pushing.

So we build.

We build software.

We build services.

We build content.

We build relationships.

I met so many amazing Nostriches and Bitcoiners last week. Some for the first time, and others I hadn’t seen in far too long. Thank you all for the memories and an incredible week. My family and I loved every moment we spent with you.

I don't want to create a hellthread, so I'll stop the tagging here. Just know that if we spoke last week, I truly enjoyed it and I look forward to our next. 🫂🤙🏻💜

P.S. If you need help with or have questions regarding Shakespeare, please slide into my DMs.

When and where is the next Australian nostr convention? looks like a fun get together, people are really passionate about this protocol, love the energy.

There are a lot of different Austrialian Nostriches or as they sometimes call themselves #AUStriches :) around these parts.

Thanks for the hashtag I'll have a look.

You're welcome! Lots of great friends from your part of the world.

i'm australian but i strongly denounce that country and have no plans to ever go back, even that i will pay for my mother, sister and nieces to visit me in more friendly lands.

36 years of my life they took from me, as well as stealing my potential to become a computuer scientist, they stole my property on repeated occasions. people think that "social credit scores" are a new thing. wrong. centenary heights state highschool in 1993 introduced one and an english teacher with a bad attitude who hated me for being so good at language used it to deprive me of the to that point expected freedom as a senior student to not sit in the exam hall all day long for a week when i only had like 8 hours of tests to do.

and tests which i pretty much aced, if i simply paid attention in class.

those teachers in australia were so full of pride they couldn't cope with a student who could run rings around them. especially the one that i totally embarrassed calling out her telling lies to my peers.

so, yeah, i got a huge chip on my shoulder about that country, and for the most part, no sympathy for the struggles of these "austriches" why are you still there? it's a big world and you are in the worst part of it.
