In episode 9 of Let’s Play Yo-Yo, Mike visited a local yo-yo club at Time Zone Toys, a shop run by Dave Bazan in Garden City, Idaho, at the time. He recorded some horizontal yo-yo tips from Kevin Nicholas, who was visiting at the time, as well as trick combos performed by the local yo-yoers.
