Decentralisation and participatory budgeting. Solved problems.

I shouldn't have to vote on streetlights anywhere but my street, unless I'm doing charity or have a business in a commercial precinct elsewhere.

And I should vote on streetlights exactly once, until someone who wants change can get quorum to re-open it.

If the streetlight is in the corner and you want the green to las longer in one direction than the other breaking the efficiency of all other 20 streetlights that were in sync? You can’t think of “my street” in any of those decisions
