Also still don’t know why Bitcoin is specifically SHA-256. I mean I could imagine why it wasn’t SHA-1 but I’m unsure why it wasn’t a different digest of SHA-2. Specifically SHA-512 or SHA-384?

Was SHA-256 enough and we didn’t need SHA-512 or SHA-384? If so, what was wrong with SHA-224?

I don’t know if I’ll ever fully understand SHA or CHF. But it’s cool as shit.

I believe he left the other 2 available just incase quantum breaks sha-256 we can implement sha-512 or sha-384

if quantum breaks sha256, no sha solution will ever be safe
