Shredded leaves are one of the best mulches (or compost if you pile them up)

Good idea, I have a leave vacuum that shreds them. I should start doing that.

Your grass will thank you. Also cutting it long will keep it greener for longer of you're in a dry climate

I usually cut it short so I don’t have to mow as often. 😂 but it grows so fast.
