Very cool system! One thing I'd recommend is adding a screen to keep bugs out the miner, better yet a screen followed by a dust filter. It'll help keep it cleaner for longer and from overheating when debris buildup can block air flow inside.

I am working on a design for a clip on screen which would accept an 1in washable filter media. I'm definitely putting some wear and tear on the machines with what time doing.

That's awesome! Using a washable/resusable filter is a great idea. I've done a little testing with the black prefilter material commonly used on indoor air purifiers and it does increase the fan speed since it is restricting airflow to some extent... So using more electricricity initially anyway, but then again after the hashboards are all dirty without a filter the fan speed may be even higher.
