Out performed big here on a 5% allocation that became 13% allocation. MSTR CEP MTPLF
I just buy treasury companies with a proven track record or exceptional board (cep)

gonna have to be patient with CEP or keep buying it as it goes down.
All long term plays. I am just going to hodl for a very long time
This is a must. The stock I have in these companies are in my son's UTMA account, which I can't liquidate. The challenge for me is that he has full access to it in 2 years. I'm trying to teach him fiscal responsibility in the meantime. Hate to see him chew through it in his 20s.
Did you teach him how saving is important ? How much free time he could have in the future ? How CAGR can make hid wealth expotential.
He could probably retire at 30 if he goes really hard at work from 18 to 30 and saves everything in Bitcoin.
Yeah, we're working on those concepts. I bought MSTR in 300s before the split, so it's hard to get the work-to-stack message across to him when he sees where he already is. Money looks free.
So you bought in the 30s, up 15X.
Too bad that made him lazier. I will try to avoid this at all cost with my children.
But if it's his money, it's his. If he blows it up, he will have to learn the hard way by working many more years
I don't know that it's making him lazier, but certainly makes it harder to make a case for work. 🤣
Your point though is really important. I said the same thing to my wife in the car this morning as we were discussing how to handle money matters with him.
