The first 15 years of #Bitcoin is about greed.
The next 15 will be about fear.
Then, that'll be that.

Who do you think you are?

Did I steal this from you?
Nah - it was more about you disappearing into the bird app for 4 days.
As I said to Andy, it's a problem with my God complex. There's no one needs saving over here.
I do sometimes wonder who is actually here & if normies are ever kicking around while wondering what the Nostr hype is about.
In any case, do you think your signal ever falls in front of normie eyes over there?
As your original note points out, we're moving into the fear stage. They now need to be the ones that enquire about Bitcoin. They need to tune in, rather than us bounding up & disrupting their social media programming.
I'm confident nostr will grow, but it'll go through various hype cycles. Happy to be an observer.
As for Twitter, unless Elon buys a bunch of bitcoin and starts charging 1 sat per tweet, I think it'll slowly die. But it's not dead yet, and it's the most effective tool we currently have.
All that said, I think we need everything. Coders, writers, toxic maxis, builders, zealots and maybe even podcasters. It doesn't matter if I don't like a particular angle or someone's particular style. The point is, that someone else will and everyone will resonate with something different.
I think we agree that this is inevitable, but that we can help speed up getting from here to there. If not, at least it's something to do while we wait.
You're addicted to Twitter & that's ok.
People should do what they feel their pull towards.
Justifying that it's for the normies is some virtuous crap from fiat land.
I'm addicted to nicotine & caffeine, I'm ok with that.
Probably true regarding the addiction, but other than face-to-face in meatspace it's also true that Twitter is the best digital tool we currently have (even with all its failings).
I'm on team nostr, but I'm also a realist.
