Censorship in Brazil has intensified since the 2022 elections, when the conservative right-wing president, Jair Bolsonaro, and his supporters began to face persecution under the guise of "democracy." However, their influence is waning. With increasingly severe fines and growing desperation, people are starting to see that those imposing these measures are merely bureaucrats with limited power, especially when their directives are disregarded.
