When I was a kid, teachers, tv, random people would say,
"Humans don't have instincts. Not like animals. Animals have instincts. "
Upon observing humans my whole life, I've decided that isn't true.
Find any place in the forest where children gather and you will find forts. Shelters. Usually they share common characteristics.
They do not need to be taught how to do this.
It's some kind of genetic memory.
Further more, the way in which children chase geese, rabbits and other animals is instinct driven behavior.
