I avoided all social accounts in the early 2000's over my belief of the spying manipulative state only to be confirmed, to no suprise, by Snowden. All you had to know was the Patriot Act wasn't your friend.

I feel the same about AI. I avoid it like the plague. I do not need AI systems to have an accurate file on my existence. Fuck a social credit image.

If it pleases the court, this is the AI generated image of the defendant. It clearly proves he is a threat to society.

AI is like the black box chain analysis of your soul.

i have never discussed my life with it. ive used it exclusively for asking questions about go, shell scripting, and plan9.

so how it shows a tiny woodstove on the right side end of my desk where one exists in real life, even though that fact has never been shared anywhere but nostr, gives me the impression it is getting information from a wide variety of sources.
