depends on the age and what you’re reading, and how many times you’ve read it before :)))

I read Amelia Bedelia to my 5 year old like three times before I was burned out, and then when she was six she only wanted me to read A. A. Milne’s Winnie the Poo for 10 months straight, every night, and I loved it. We had both narrative books pretty much memorized, like an oral history. I still love it.
