People do not understand that even saving has risk, there is no such thing as risk-free.

The most perfect and stable form of savings that we know of so far is gold, and even gold has had down times.

We only have two certainties:

- If we save with FIAT our money tomorrow will be worth less.

- If we save with gold or Bitcoin our money tomorrow could be worth more or it could be worth less.

I think it is always better to choose the option that gives you hope.

What’s the risk of bitcoin?

Read my post again 😂

🤔

We could say that the downside volatility, the risk that tomorrow you can buy less than today, but you also have that risk with gold, everything has risk.

It's not a criticism of Bitcoin, it's the opposite.

The longer you save in bitcoin, the lower the risk.

Still risk.

Life is always risky ^^

Everything is risk if you want

And now is a good time to read the original post again 😎

Exactly, I repeat, this is not a criticism of Bitcoin, if you save in Fiat you have no choice, if or if your money will be worth less tomorrow.

It's just a statistical question, if you have two options and one assures you a loss and the other has the possibility of not losing, which one do you choose?

It is simply rational thinking.

We must avoid sectarianism and explain things well so that people understand.

Ah, got it now ✌️

I'd rather go for certainty in stead of hope when it comes to storing value. But that's me. Risk averse. All-in on Bitcoin.

Agree 🤝. Bitcoin is hope. Fiat is slavery. It’s an easy choice for me 🫡🧡

Exactly. The risk is not eliminated, you choose which one to take.

Saving on FIAT is choosing the mathematical certainty of devaluation. Saving in gold or Bitcoin is choosing volatility in the short term, but protection in the long term.

The real question is not 'Which is risk-free?', but 'Which risk do you prefer: guaranteed slow erosion or volatility with the possibility of growth?' For me, the choice is obvious.
