I changed to nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg because the zapping friction that nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 has on iOS (solvable but still friction with external wallets). I still like nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 a lot and is definitely my #nostr benchmark.
We're maturing. Nostr clients are getting buttery smooth. For example, I remember just a few months ago that I did not like Primal all that much. My feed was slow to load. My notifications were even slower. It all worked, but it didn't work fast enough for me, so I didn't use it all that much.
That has all changed. The latest release is fast and smooth. Primal is now an easy recommend to anyone that complains about Nostr app performance in the past.
Keep up the great work nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg team!
To be fair, nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 has always been smooth and buttery, but I only recently have been able to verify this with my test iPhone.
Discussion
I think that's a great way to think about it. How does it compare to Damus? Damus is like our industry standard.
Might be that the first cut is the deepest. But I find nostr:npub18m76awca3y37hkvuneavuw6pjj4525fw90necxmadrvjg0sdy6qsngq955 smoother and more features, somehow I see more followers, and following, using the same relays. On the other hand the minimalistic and clean feeling of nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg and the built in wallet has got me.
