I don't doubt it

originally meetings were designed to help form a coherent vision.

now a days most companies vision is "please the investors, at all costs."

so meetings are largely irrelevant, especially if you're not at the top of the heap.

80% of meetings can be solved in email, iirc.

Been saying this for years! Most people literally have meetings only to chat, sip some coffee and let time go by faster.

I currently have so many meetings, I rarely have time to do productive work and I hate it.

I vote for 4 days workweek with same salary.

It is also achievable, and you can be more productive, if you have more time to relax, or do things that lift you up.
