Keychat and NIP-104 are both based on OpenMLS, so they're about 95% similar. The main difference lies in how we rotate the message receiving address. I'll write a detailed post later to explain the advantages of our design. We also look forward to MLS clients being interoperable. Please don't misunderstand us as intentionally being different.
