i know its really popular right now, to shit on government, and call yourself an anarchist, but i am really finding the idea of 'government' being immoral prima facie(on its face) compelling.

have you ever considered why we choose people, and give them special made up titles, which supposedly give them the right to tell everyone else what to do, and use violence with impunity?

have you ever really thought about how crazy that is? or how it is absolutely inevitable that eventually that structure will turn on the people who created it?

I think its a distortion that results of a good and natural form of organization. If we think of the beginning of a small community most of the people will have their jobs, but we need a group of people to take care of the community infrastructure, garbage, in a small community you could show your disagreement and this people could be replaced with other very fast. As things scale to country level, no one knows each other there is no accountability, you can't easily apply to that position ans can't replace them easily or fast, so with scale we basically loose all control.

I have and I do and it's time for change

Agreed, but what we have to consider is that this was born of necessity.

IE the tribe nominated the best leader as chief so they could defend against rival tribes

As society progressed, the threats morphed and so did the control/defensive apparatus.

So here we are, in a privileged society generally free from direct violence, complaining about the control structures that allowed this peace and prosperity to occur.

Again, I agree, and I complain too lol. Shit is ridiculous, regressing.

Alas, it's up to the plebs to come up with something better. Satoshi did his part and allies are doing theirs. Nostr and other P2P protocols are another key. Start9 is doing cool shit with P2P hardware and OS. This shit will allow us to regain control and make more informed decisions as plebs. HopeTS is trying to build an AI that will instantly check a politicians words against their track record. All very exciting!

But we are left with the problem of keeping the barbarian hordes (including other autocrats) at bay. Second amendment helps but isn't gonna cut it. We need an organized, centralized force.

Currently the cancerous bureaucracy and narcissistic power hoarders are eating away at the good parts of the system that actually serve the plebs. This is the crux of the issue.

Whaddya think?
