marsupials are technically mammals but they are the most primitive kind. all the rest are basically like rodents.

we don't share a lot of DNA with them compared to every other mammal, of which there is basically plant eaters and meat eaters. we are from a long line of meat eaters that starts from the feline, through the lemur, to the monkey, then the apes and then us.

not one of these animals is adapted to insects, and every single one of them is highly intelligent, and the reason is because to power this greasy brain, our best fuel is fats, and to keep our brain supplied, we need lots of oily antioxidants and protein.
