A Convention is required, no? It's intended to be used to fix an out of control congress; in the event it's needed. Problem is, if congress is that out of control, the state govs are most likely just as bad off and trusting the convention in that atmosphere is dicey. 😕
Yeah. As far as I know it’s never been used but it’s an option.
They've been trying to convince people and have some states signed on to it already. They've been going at it for the last I forgot, 6+ years?
Oh yes! But remember that is a double edge 🗡️. Popular vote elections and disposing of the electoral college is a big risk several states have signed on already.
