Dang, nostr:npub16cpe069rjz6pm5t42xcyhcn66f5rr04k64df3g03fk2wctlrlhsqycedcd looks like I bought the wrong ePaper display.

I figured out the pin mapping, but even though it seems to have the same specs as the version with the Pico mount, just getting garble written to the display.

Here's the display I got:

Any ideas on what might need tweaking?

I have seen this issue before.

If I remember correctly, it turned out that this screen does not support partial refresh.

ok, I lied to you 😓, it's not about the partial refresh but about the 4 greyscale levels.

the data sheet states that partial refresh is supported.

since I don't have the display, I can't do any testing
