Usually we take 1 gallon a day from her. The calf is still on her so we leave milk for him. If we were not calf sharing we could take more, but we don't need more than a gallon. We actually go through about 1 gallon a day easy. We use it in our coffee, just drinking fresh milk, making masala chai, making ice cream etc. I also make greek yogurt a few times a week from her milk.

As per the feed, CR really doesn't have alot if great options like in Canada or USA. There is pretty much only 1 option that is a corn based feed. Pasture is best for them.
