I need my car to survive until they start making cars without so many fiat gadgets again.

I used to love my old VW’s that could be fixed with a rubber band holding things together

Haha, that sounds nice 😂

I drove a VW camper van from SC to South Florida with it blowing black smoke the whole way and when I got there got it fixed for $30 lol I was fogging out the whole interstate

I literally burst out laughing, that's amazing

It was the best vehicle ever 💯

My only story like that is driving from Tallahassee back to Orlando with a tire with a nail in it that would deflate every 50 miles, and I'd just pump it full every time.

That’s awesome lol you ain’t got time to change that shit

Looking back I should have just stopped by some run down tire shop and they'd have fixed me up in 15 minutes. I did that a few months ago and it was amazing.

Haha, yeah doing the smart thing doesn’t always occur to us in the moment 😂

I get smart by doing all the wrong things in the moment 😂

The best way to learn 💯

might have to start a kit shop to get it done but I’m with you, never drove a car that didn’t make it to at least 250K miles

Nice!

I'm about to cross 100k on mine. Here's to another 100 🍻

🍻 and keep that oil fresh

Aye 🫡

I have no idea if it’s 100% true, but my uncle who is a mechanical engineer said the worst thing a person can do to their engine is to shut it off before it warms up all the way—condensation or something, I forget exactly why. He told me that when I was a teenager and I took it to heart.

That's interesting. I'll keep it in mind, thanks
