The state may argue that it should be able to track all your financial movements and in Bitcoin that's certainly possible, but in contrast, you have the right to privacy not just from the state, but from everyone you have financial dealings with, from companies to individuals. Tools which enable you to express those rights are needed. I'm gutted about the Samurai case, because it's a direct attack on all privacy, not just from the state.
