Let’s not pretend America’s support is altruistic. This is a marriage of military industrial greed and bad eschatology. The U.S. State Department loves Israel as a forward operating base in the Middle East, and a lot of American evangelicals love them because they think propping up Tel Aviv will speed up the Second Coming. Both reasons are rotten.

America has enough blood on her hands without adding “foreign covenant breaking surveillance state” to the rap sheet. If Israel wants to keep crushing their neighbors under a digital iron fist, let them do it without our dollars, without our tech giants, and without our moral cover. God will judge them, and He’ll judge us for enabling them. Let them reap what they sow. Not because we hate Jews, but because we fear God.
