I know this was answered already (Gorillas and QBasic).

The nostalgia of seeing this.

QBasic was my first programming language back when I was 8.

I found it on my parents 386 and it looked like Edit.com with some weird extras.

I took my dad’s old college notebook of BASIC and did some simple programs then went from there.

Yaaaas! Edit.com! I'd forgotten that it was the same basic editor QBasic used. My first language was GW-BASIC. QBasic was my 2nd. Then QuickBasic and some Assembly language, then PDS, then Visual Basic, then Visual Fortran, then FoxPro, VBS, PHP, JavaScript, Icon, Python, Xojo and so many more.
