I recently read Eye of the Heron by Ursula K LeGuin and it gave me another perspective on good fiction, which is it helps us recognize the things in our world we accept and take for granted as the natural order of things... when in fact so much of it is of our own creation and the possibilities are so much bigger than what we see in front of us. It was a good read.
