"embedded firmware" and "electronic engineering"
Electronic engineering: what you do when you are making circuit boards for electronics.
Embedded firmware: software that gets burned into microprocessors on circuit boards to make things go, like the software inside calculators and alarm clocks. Its called firmware because once you load it on the circuit board, it never changes and it does largely only one thing. You can't put a floppy disk in it, reboot it, and change what the circuit board does.
Many of the people arriving to nostr early are highly skilled and intelligent individuals.
